CHALLENGE
To design the identity for the
centenary of 'Vintage Ladybird Books'and create the accompanying style guide for retailers using their
rich archive of illustrations.


 

SOLUTION

We focused on showcasing the 

nostalgic power of the 'Vintage Ladybird' brand.

 

We devised a ‘montage’ approach, using carefully selected images to compliment the products in a whimsical way.

 

We played with context and 
juxtaposition to highlight the brand’s nostalgic charm within the modern day.
